♣ Vintage Muse
Wednesday, November 7, 2012 || 8:26 AM Here's my very first photoshoot of November! I would like to spread my thanks to Julia for being my amazing model. Thank you for putting up with me and doing weird things :P Overall, hope you had fun! :D So the theme of this was vintage. The inspiration came from the old platforms of the Parkland Walk which made it look so vintage, rustic and old. I love how locations can give you a certain muse and idea. It's just a simple shoot with no heavy props included. Just me, my model and a few dainty props. Here are some sneak peaks! More at the gallery!

♣ The Dreamland Series: Twisted
Monday, November 5, 2012 || 10:29 AM This is the last part of the Dreamland Series. This was perhaps one of the most hardest/disgusting photoshoot I had to endure. The fact that the river was polluted much to my displeasure, it really brought my mood down but my awesome model, Nicole managed to pull it through and in the end, we managed to get some good shots! The theme for this shoot is different from the rest. It speaks about being trapped in a nightmare and becoming a part of it unwillingly. Here are some previews! |

♣ The Dreamland Series: Flower
|| 10:11 AM Again, I am not consistent with this website so sorry! I'm quite busy this month and I haven't got time to post all my backlogged photoshoots but here is it now! This is the second part of the Dreamland Series! The idea of this one was leaning towards a high priestess advancing and exploring a new world beyond her. I had a lot of light studies in this but the pictures turned out amazing. I was playing quite a bit with the aperture and the soft vignetting. Enjoy some teasers! More on the gallery! |

♣ The Dreamland Series: Ambiguous
Monday, September 17, 2012 || 12:23 PM Hello guys! I have been MIA for the longest time, so sorry about that! But well, I've been back for about two months in Malaysia and it's been quite fun. Though my camera officially died after this shoot. Quite saddening but there is something special coming up. The concept of Dreamland Series is based on a few interesting events on how each dream is perceived. Some dreams are magical while some, are so ambiguous and of course, the nightmare ones. Here is the ambiguous one. My model Sue Lyn is amazing. She's really one of the best models I've photographed and it's always a pleasure working with her. Here are some previews: |

♣ Lost in Paradise
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 || 1:40 PM Another shoot! Well it's summer time right now so the theme is loosely based on the feel of summer. I also wanted to add a hint of Alice in wonderland but then well, that would be too cliche no? It's just a simple shoot about the wonders of summer :) It's like being lost in paradise! I hope you guys enjoy it! Here are some amazing teasers :D
Gallery is updated! :)

♣ Inconsistency
Sunday, May 27, 2012 || 4:55 PM Sorry for the lack of updates. I was very busy throughout my 3 months because of my final major project. Now that's done, I have resumed into photography now. Well this time, it's a summer photoshoot themed. But I am still currently editing the pictures and could only show you like a teaser :)
More will be updated as soon as I finish uploading the batch!

make me immortal with a kiss My name is Serena Gan and I love photography. I'm 19 and I'm from Malaysia. This site is not for any business purposes but it's to showcase my photography work. I may not be as good as the rest of them out there but I don't care what they say because I'm doing this for myself and for myself only. I'm into all sorts of photography but I love fashion photography the most. I make my own concepts and always my own concepts. I want the world to know that I can be a better photographer. I just love what I do. And I want everyone to know that it doesn't matter if your work is amateur. Everyone has their own stepping stone and everyone is bound to start from somewhere. This is well, my own chapter. |
